Agriturismo Biologico Bellaria

The farmhouse is located in the vast and enchanting countryside of the Volterra hills, golden in summer, lush in spring, brown in autumn and winter, all waiting to be discovered. All around is to discover, to walk, cycle or ride, but also to rest or visit other cities of art: San Gimignano 15 km away, Siena 40 km, Pisa 60 km, Florence 70 km. In this rich context, the farm offers genuine and comfortable hospitality in flats or intimate rooms, in keeping with the agricultural environment in which it is set. The farm's strength is organic cultivation together with slow food. It is the winds, particularly from the sea, that give it its name: Agriturismo Biologico Bellaria. Flats with independent entrance, rooms with bathroom, independent heating, private garden, barbecue are offered, named after the historical places of rural life that took place in the farmhouse.
The farmhouse swimming pool will further enliven your stay. It will be possible to get to know and perhaps taste typical local products, obtained strictly from organic farming, such as olive oil, wine, garden produce and tasty poultry meat and the famous Pomarancina sheep, an autochthonous breed with a limited diffusion.
The old farmhouse is situated on a hill with a splendid view of Volterra, and has been lovingly restored maintaining the warmth of the rustic furnishings, characterised by simplicity and style. The Agriturismo Biologico Bellaria practices a system of organic farming and produces olive oil and wine; it cultivates according to the most ancient traditions to rediscover the genuineness and flavours of the past. It thus guarantees absolutely genuine, quality products that can be enjoyed in the warmth of a family environment.
