Azienda Agrituristica La Genziana

Just a stone's throw from Alghero airport and the most beautiful beaches of the Coral Riviera lies 'La Genziana', an agritourism company inspired by a plant that is a symbol of Sardinia and has always been a sign of care and peace. The Azienda Agrituristica La Genziana is a 17-hectare oasis where there is a natural inclination towards hospitality. Inside the complex you can stay in one of the two flats, obtained from the old farmhouse, or in one of the four double rooms (one of which is equipped for disabled guests), characterised by a style inspired by Sardinian tradition revisited in a modern key. Choosing to stay at La Genziana means having an experience where the uniqueness of the guest is sacred, where everything you consume is self-produced or comes from nearby, where being together at the table is part of everyday life. La Genziana also offers a catering service reserved only for guests of the accommodation facility, where the fixed menu changes every day according to the seasonality and availability of products. The raw materials used are largely produced on the farm or from nearby farms. Pork sausages, pecorino cheese using the traditional method, typical sweets and fresh pasta in the Sardinian tradition are produced. Fruit and vegetables from the organic orchard and products for breakfast, such as fine jams and marmalades, fruit juices, the queen of breakfasts 'sa frue', and other delicacies. La Genziana is much more than a peaceful oasis where you can enjoy Sardinia and recharge your batteries. In fact, the farm collaborates directly with local institutions and companies, creating educational workshops to provide real support and mutual well-being. La Genziana is also a social and educational farm, and as such, it offers individual and group activities aimed at the most socially exposed groups and animal-assisted activities, aimed at work and social reintegration. Among the main educational activities they offer are: IL PICCOLO CASARO, which was created to bring participants closer to farm animals by learning how to milk and caesify them to recognise the importance of respecting animals. FILI DI LANA, whose workshop objective is to recognise wool as an element that is still largely present in our daily lives. LE MANI IN PASTA, designed to stimulate creativity and manual skills.
