In the heart of the Cavu valley, between Pinarellu and Sainte Lucie de Porto-Vecchio, the Domaine Agricole de Valle opens its fields. On the land cultivated for three generations by the Prietto family it flourishes delicious organic vegetables which derive their character from the sandy-siliceous soil. Marc and Laetitia Prietto are expert and passionate gardeners who cultivate their land under the magnificent Corsican sun, producing certified organic vegetables of remarkable taste.
Throughout the year, respecting the seasons, they produce and sell their vegetables in the wonderful shop they have set up at the entrance to the farm. The freshness of the newly picked organic vegetables, which pass directly from the field to the plate, guarantees nutritional quality as well as subtle and delicate aromas. In organic farming, this luxury of freshness is accompanied by the absence of synthetic pesticides, to respect the health of consumers, farmers and ecosystems.
The shop, appropriately named "L'art du légume", is open all year round on Tuesdays from 4.30 to 7.00 pm and Saturdays from 9.00 to 12.00. The vegetable vending machine is open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day!
Marc and Laetitia also open their doors to show you their farm and the work as gardeners. By reservation only.
