Lydia Casciani

Lydia Casciani

Farm located in the municipality of Aléria, in Haute Corse. The site comprises 10 hectares of clementines, 1 of oranges, 1 of pomelo, 7 of almonds and 2 hectares of vines.
The sale of fruit is diversified, depending on the fruit type: clementines, grapes and almonds to cooperatives; oranges are sold directly, with possible delivery, and reservation on the Internet.
Lydia has also been running a soap project based on the products of her farm (soaps with sweet almond oil) for 3 years.
The farm's crops are grown according to the level 3 criteria of the High Environmental Value certification, at the request of the cooperative. This standard requires that crops are grown with fewer treatments and by developing biodiversity. Irrigation is by micro-irrigation with agricultural water supplied by the Office for Hydraulic Equipment of Corsica (OEHC).
