An all-round experience in the beautiful nature between Bastia and the Cap Corse
- Arrival in Bastia and time at leisure to stroll through the characteristic streets of the centre to discover its treasures. A magnificent city, gateway into Corsica, it is characterised by a high cultural and monumental wealth: Baroque oratories, majestic churches, Porto Vecchio, and the Citadel perched proudly on its rocky promontory.
Bastia also has a wealth of handicrafts and local traditions, such as in Ville di Pietrabugno, a few kilometres from Bastia, the Atelier I Palatini, producers of traditional knives. If your arrival in Bastia coincides with a Sunday, we recommend a visit to the traditional and organic ‘Mercatu’ market, held at the Town Hall Square. Here, walking among the local producers, you will be able to come into contact with Lumaca, the first snail farm in Corsica. - Dinner at leisure and transfer to Erbalunga. Overnight stay at the Hotel Castel Brando.
- Breakfast at the hotel and visit Erbalunga, a picturesque, quiet and charming village, dedicated to fishing and tourism. Here you can feel the atmosphere of times gone by, when Erbalunga was engaged in a flourishing maritime trade. The Genoese watchtower, the symbol of the village, built on a small rocky spur at the edge of the sea, and Località Castello, situated in a dominant position, where the chapel of Our Lady of the Snows of Romanesque origin is located, are worth a visit.
Lunch at your leisure in one of the typical restaurants in the old town. - In the afternoon, you can enjoy the beach or rent a kayak for a wonderful sea excursion.
